We have these cats. Everywhere. Like 10 of ‘em. Really. Im not sure they realize they are cats. I remember the cats I had as a child. They liked to curl up somewhere high and purr. That was it. Well, our cats seem to think they are dogs because they follow us EVERYWHERE!
I had this great idea. Little {w} needed his one year pictures taken. I thought, oh, bring him to my house! There really are so many great spots here to take pictures…..
There are so many cats to follow you too! We had to work around the cat-dogs that afternoon. But little {w} did great. He is so cute. He doesnt like grass so we had to work around that. But his cuteness oozes from him….so his pictures came out so great. Happy first birthday little guy!!!

When we had to make important decisions….we would draw straws. We were going to be famous dancers and travel the world. Side by side.  One of the great things about living in a small town is knowing your friends for your whole life. I didn’t know her my whole life though. But once our paths crossed, we were lobsters. My last few years in high school were spent with Edie at my side. Graduating meant leaving her, but we promised to never grow apart…..a promise I’m sad to say didn’t last. We did grow apart. For so long I would wonder how she was. Wonder who was drawing straws with her. Wonder who was her lobster.

Ive been blessed with many great friends in my life. Edie was one of the best. I was so pleased when she and her husband asked me to photograph their new son.

Don and Edie, your son is precious. I cant wait to see him again!

I cant begin to explain how special it is to photograph a dear friends baby. So, thank you for choosing me!

And, our final daycare post! The last 2 little guys..their pics wouldnt fit on the big collages…so they get their own! :)

And then there are the group pictures….group pictures are …um..interesting at this age….you will see what I mean… haha

Thank you again to Sandy, Keley, and Lacey for having me over to take pictures. I really had a great time. You all have such sweethearts to spend your days with.

I mean, really…these kids are just so cute! I’ve got one last collage to post after these two! I had such a sweet time playing and photographing these cuties. I miss my time in daycare….so it was nice to have a little reminder of the joy that comes with that job.

It was pretty hard to pick which pictures to share here. I don’t believe this girl can take a bad picture. At all. I think we picked the most perfect day ever to take pictures. A cool front was blowing in. The skies were cloudy. It was really just perfect. Ok…well maybe the wind was blowing a bit too hard…but it felt so GOOD that we just didn’t care!!!
